West Kent PCT hosts INRstar User Group Meeting

The very first INRstar User Group meeting was recently organised by Sullivan Cuff Software at Preston Hall, Kent.

The meeting was aimed at front line staff responsible for the day-to-day running of primary care anticoagulation clinics, and was hosted with the assistance of West Kent PCT, where the majority of practices currently use the Intranet edition of INRstar.

Around 40 nurses, practice managers and GPs were in attendance at two separate sessions during the day, and took the opportunity to share their experiences of delivering an anticoagulation service, discuss the current system and put forward suggestions for future INRstar releases.

Both sessions were run by Dr Robert Treharne Jones, Clinical Director and Paul Sullivan, Business Development Manager who commented, "Feedback from delegates was very positive... the sessions were so well-received that we plan to organise further user group meetings around the country in the near future".

Details of future events will appear on the events page http://www.inrstar.co.uk/events and will be publicised in each specific region.
