Point Prevalence Feedback - How it works
Point Prevalence (PP) is the percentage of patients whose last INR result falls within 0.5 of their target INR. PP gives a clearer picture than time in range of how well your whole service is doing and the British Society of Haematology target for dosing efficiency is 60% of INR tests within 0.5 units of the target INR.
INRstar's Point Prevalence feedback service allows you to benchmark your anticoagulation service against other (anonymous) INRstar users four times a year. After initially registering for the service, on the required dates you run the inbuilt Point Prevalence audit, visit this web site, and complete the return form. (We email a reminder to all registered practices at the end of each quarter.) Following the reporting period, we collate all returns and email a compilation chart.
Confidentiality
This feedback service is confidential. Your practice is identified by a code that is known only to you and us. We do not divulge the practice name that corresponds to any code nor reveal identifiable results to any third party without the express permission of the practice in question.

Once we have verified your registration we will email you an identity code that will be used in the result return form and feedback chart to keep your practice name confidential.
